CAMPING IS WHAT YOU MAKE IT...LET THE FUN BEGIN!!!

Our young campers are disappointed not to be going to Kirkwood this year. But they are not letting that ruin their summer of fun with all their friends. With a lot of careful planning on the part of Sarah Foster and her counselors, they will be conducting many memorable days of typical camp activities right here at the great Northwest Community Church and surrounding areas.

Each planned day will start after breakfast with the campers arriving from home at 10 AM.

From 10 AM to 9 PM each day Monday, June 15th through Thursday, June 18th a variety of events such as swimming, games, interesting talks, bible study, lunch, canoeing, some surprises, doing a worthwhile service project, dinner, and night games will provide an exciting fun filled schedule. On Thursday, those who can, will stay and camp overnight on the Church grounds. After breaking camp and breakfast Friday morning on June 19th, they will return home about 10 AM.

There will be many fun games and activities planned. They will worship God together. They will have Bible Studies. They will still play big games at night and perhaps sing around a campfire. And they will build these memories in a Christian environment that will last a lifetime.

LET'S ALL HELP MAKE THIS A HUGE SUCCESS. Perhaps you can offer a grill or a portable fire pit. Maybe you would like to offer your pool. They might need some volunteers to shuttle the kids around town. Perhaps you would like to assist with the Morgan Canoe adventure. How about showing up to play a guitar around the campfire. Or maybe you would like to give an archery demonstration. If we all give our support... bringing the kids home to camp might turn out to be as great a success as sending the kids off to camp.

If you would like to find out how you can make a difference, or if you would simply like to find out more details about the program for your son or daughter, give Sarah Foster a call at (513) 213-9446 or email sarahfoster87@gmail.com

  1. Sarah: I can loan you a video camera. Maybe the kids would like to create a movie. ~ R.Lowry
