Preparation Scripture: Psalm 119: 9-16, Hebrews 5: 5-10, John 12: 20-33
Kevin invites us to consider the meaning of “GLORY”.
Glory is often associated with “light”. Light is a curious thing. You cannot see light. You can only see the results of light as it reflects off an object. As you witness a beam of light you are seeing its reflection off millions of dust particles. Without reflectors light has no effect and can serve no useful purpose.
The Glory of God, like light, can serve no purpose without reflectors. As Christians following Jesus Christ we are those reflectors. The world, unable to see the Glory of God, can see his effect on our lives as we follow the teachings of his Son and our Savior, Jesus Christ.
